In this Share & Learn session, we spent some time reflecting on how local oral health program (LOHP) back-to-school activities went and considered how to strategically prepare for the rest of the school year. Katie Conklin and Bahar Amanzadeh from the California Oral Health Technical Assistance Center (COHTAC) walked you through school dental program resources and moderated a discussion with a few LOHPs on what goes into their planning for the duration of the school year. You heard from Stanislaus County, the City and County of San Francisco, and the Smile Keepers Dental Program in Tuolumne County. We ended the session with updates from the System for California Oral Health Reporting (SCOHR). We hope you left this session feeling energized and equipped with new ideas to implement in your LOHP!
