Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment (KOHA) Specialist
Katie is a is a Project Coordinator for the UCSF OpenSmiles HRSA grant and was part of the first COHTAC team. Katie founded a non-profit to bring KOHA into schools and worked closely with varies partners to learn about their needs. She now brings her experience to support and guide the Local Oral Health Programs with questions on KOHA planning, implementation, and evaluation. In her free time she enjoys cups of coffee, yoga, and trying to learn to surf.
Dr. Hoeft has expertise in health education, dental health communication and qualitative research methods. She focuses on making optimal home hygiene and dental care experiences accessible to diverse and vulnerable populations.
Aubri Kottekholds a Master of Public Health degree and is a research and program manager at UCSF with expertise in understanding how health equity manifests. She conducts mixed methods research investigating oral health inequities, innovations in dental care delivery, and oral health workforce issues.
Gustavo has worked in the non-profit organizations focused on children's oral health through out Sonoma County for over 10 years. He has experience in radio, television, film, content creation and community outreach and engagement. He has previously worked as a Research Analyst for the Department of Preventive & Restorative Dental Sciences.
