In this Lunch & Learn session, we discussed and shared best practices in community-based education and creating dental partnerships. We also touched on the California Oral Health Literacy Toolkit, published in 2021 and available on the COHTAC website, including some new teach-back materials. We were joined by Anthony Eleftherion, Director of Communications at Health Research for Action at UC Berkeley, Kristin Hoeft, Director of COHTAC at UCSF and Chair of the California Oral Health Partnership Communications Workgroup, individuals from three LOHPs (Marin, Shasta, and Sutter), and individuals from Medi-Cal Dental Outreach who shared their experiences with us.
