The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Office of School Health, in partnership with the California School-Based Health Alliance, is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., focused on how School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) can support student wellness across California. This session will help participants identify the core features of SBHCs and understand examples of the services these centers provide. This webinar will be joined by staff working in a local California SBHC who will share about how their work improves student health. The webinar will also describe how SBHCs advance health equity and can offer a return on public investment. Attendees will learn about different models for supporting SBHCs and leave with at least one practical next step they can take to continue learning or enhance local support.
