The California School-Based Health Alliance is having a three-part oral health webinar series – April 21, May 5, and June 3 – to strengthen your knowledge about oral health efforts at both the state and local levels.
Tuesday, April 21, 1:00-2:15 pm Pacific: Join Dr. Shakalpi Pendurkar, the State Dental Director, to hear about the oral health status of California’s children and youth and how this impacts education. Participants will learn about public health strategies that address the social determinants of health and how these strategies align with the Office of Oral Health’s vision of achieving oral health equity and wellbeing for all Californians. Learn how the California Oral Health Plan provides a statewide strategic framework for public health initiatives, supporting the Office of Oral Health’s mission to improve oral health through evidence‑based or evidence‑informed prevention, education, and community‑driven efforts.
