Apply by March 30: New Funding for CHW/P/R Workforce

For the past four years, we and our partners have led dedicated efforts to support and scale the Community Health Worker, Promotor, and Community Health Representative (CHW/P/R) workforce across California. In that time, over 60 organizations recruited, trained, and retained this crucial, diverse workforce and sustainably integrated them into their organizations.
We are excited to announce that the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) has committed to investing in this project and crucial workforce by launching a new phase of the Amplifying Impact Initiative in May 2026. Under HCAI’s stewardship, this next iteration will support organizations' efforts to strengthen CHW/P/R workforce sustainability and build organizational capacity through workforce support services and strategic infrastructure investments.
Applications for this exciting opportunity are now open and will close at 4:00pm PT on March 30, 2026.
