This 1.5-hour webinar provides participants with an overview of human papillomavirus (HPV), HPV-related pathology, and what a dental provider’s role is in prevention through vaccination. Oropharyngeal cancer is one of the fastest-rising cancers in the United States. All materials have been reviewed and approved through the American Cancer Society. All dental providers in California, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and dentists, are eligible to attend this webinar and have the option of receiving 1.5 CDE credits upon completion.
This course meets the Dental Board of California's requirements for 1.5 units of continuing education.
