Description:
This one-hour virtual training on Tobacco and Nicotine Cessation offers oral health providers education on the impact of tobacco and vaping on oral health and overall health, key forms of tobacco use, and integrating tobacco use screening and referral to free cessation services into dental practice settings. All dental providers in California, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and dentists, have the option of receiving 1.0 CDE credit upon completion.
