Webinar (ZOOM)

The CDE Office of School-Based Health Programs and the CDPH Office of School Health will co-host a webinar aimed at strengthening cross-sector collaboration to support student well-being. The session will focus on building strong partnerships among schools, families, community organizations, and public health agencies. It will also encourage meaningful family and community engagement in decision-making and spotlight no-cost, community-based resources that help remove barriers and promote long-term stability for students and families.

CDPH and CDE invite local public health departments and local education agencies to explore collaborative strategies that support the whole child. Together, we’ll examine how cross-sector partnerships can create a more coordinated and equitable system of care that promotes student health and success.

Webinar Objectives:

  • Strengthen Cross-Sector Collaboration: Identify effective approaches for building strong, sustainable partnerships between schools, families, community organizations, and public health agencies.
  • Enhance Family and Community Engagement: Promote inclusive practices that encourage families and communities to actively participate in decision-making related to student health and development.
  • Expand Community-Based Supports: Highlight no-cost resources, services, and local programs that help remove barriers and foster long-term stability for students and families.
