The purpose of this meeting is to disseminate lessons that have been learned from a decade of work with Virtual Dental Home systems and dental care coordination activities within the California Dental Transformation Initiative (DTI) Local Dental Pilot Projects (LDPPs) and other programs.  In addition, advocacy opportunities in these areas for 2021 will be discussed.

The broad agenda will include such topics as:

1. Lessons Learned from 15 years of Virtual Dental Home systems with particular emphasis on the CA DTI
2. Findings from an analysis of dental care coordination efforts within DTI LDPPs and recommendations to support increased adoption
3. Opportunities to advocate for the strategies discussed to be incorporated into California’s public oral health programs
