Sacramento County Oral Health Program Presents the Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment (KOHA) Success Series: Building Stronger Systems for Student Health
This is the second of three KOHA sessions. This session highlights how districts can expand KOHA access through remote assessment, while also exploring resources for school‑based screenings and strategies to support students who do not have a dental home.
Participants will:
- Explore how remote KOHA can expand access for students and districts.
- Identify practical next steps for launching or scaling KOHA programs.
- Review resources for school‑based and community‑based screenings.
- Learn strategies to support students without a dental home.
- Understand funding pathways, including LCAP and project supports.
Open to school districts, nurses, school-based dental providers, and community partners. Recordings will be available. Registration required. One credit of Nursing CE is offered for each session.
