Sacramento County Oral Health Program Presents the Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment (KOHA) Success Series: Building Stronger Systems for Student Health
This is the first of three KOHA sessions. This foundational session gives districts a clear, updated understanding of KOHA—what it is, why it matters, and what’s changing for 2026.
Participants will:
- Understand the core purpose and components of KOHA.
- Learn key updates, timelines, and legislative changes for 2026.
- Strengthen foundational workflows and implementation practices.
- Identify strategies to boost KOHA participation and compliance.
- Gain insights from district implementation through a spotlight example
Open to school districts, nurses, school-based dental providers, and community partners. Recordings will be available. Registration required. One credit of Nursing CE is offered for each session.
