This is the tenth in a series of national webinars designed to promote the 11 Healthy People 2030 oral health objectives. Thirty-seven percent of U.S. children and adolescents 3 to 19 years of age have received dental sealants on one or more of their primary and permanent molar teeth, and the Healthy People 2030 target is to increase this proportion to 42.5 percent. This webinar, hosted by the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) in partnership with the Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors (ASTDD), the Federal Healthy People 2030 Oral Health Workgroup, and the Indian Health Service (IHS), will focus on evidence-based solutions to improving the number of children and adolescents receiving dental sealants, especially in vulnerable and underserved populations where there are persistent oral health disparities.
