COVID-19 has changed how dental professional will practice for the foreseeable future.

This presentation and panel will cover the latest guidelines from CDPH and bring in the perspectives of CDPH, CDA and CDHA leadership on how hygienist can safely provide care in the dental setting.

This webinar aims to:

  • Review guidelines from California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Dental Guidance Overview
  • Focus on the importance of infection control and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 
  • Translate dental guidelines from professional agencies into recommendation for hygienists to safely return to dental settings

Summary:

By the end of this webinar hygienists will be able to translate the California Department of Public Health dental guidelines into recommendations to safely return to work in the dental settings. On the webinar we will discuss the role of infection control and PPE by reviewing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and CDPH dental guidelines. We will also hear from the leaders in CDA and CDPH about their recommendations for Dental Hygienists.
