The Central Valley Health Policy Institute and CA-OPEN are excited to invite you to join this webinar "COVID-19 and its Impact on the Dental Industry: A Providers Perspective" on Thursday, August 27th at 12:00 PM (Pacific Time). We will provide an overview of the findings from a recent dental report by the Central Valley Health Policy Institute at Fresno State. The report presents findings of a survey sent to dental providers that aimed at understanding their perspective regarding the effectiveness of infection control and protection at the dental office amid the pandemic; adequacy of financial support offered to dental providers; and changes in the dental practice due to COVID-19.

The webinar will highlight how the pandemic will have a short- and long-term impact on dentistry, the implementation of oral health programs, and the implications of this impact on the vulnerable and underserved communities. This webinar series is intended for advocates, providers, policymakers, and anyone interested in health equity!
