Description: According to the UCLA Williams Institute, approximately 5.3% of Californians identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender and 24% have children. Research shows that LGBTQIA+ individuals experience worse health outcomes compared to heterosexual individuals. It is essential for providers to understand the needs and experiences of LGBTQIA+ communities in order to provide inclusive care that eliminates barriers and promotes equitable health outcomes. During this webinar, participants will gain:
