Join Smile, California to kick off National Children's Dental Health Month (NCDHM) this February! NCDHM is a nationwide celebration that highlights the importance of building strong oral health habits for children. Preventive dental care, like regular check-ups and daily brushing, is a key role in setting kids up for lifelong healthy smiles. Through Medi-Cal families can access dental services at no cost.

In this one-hour webinar, you will be taken on a journey through Healthy Smile Land, an imaginative and educational way to help families understand dental care and how dental services covered by Medi-Cal can make it easier to care for their kids’ teeth. From Fluoride Falls to Sealant Island, discover creative resources and activities designed to make learning about oral health fun, approachable, and exciting for kids.

Learning Objectives:
  • Get a first look at Healthy Smile Land digital and print materials, including activity sheets, social media graphics, and more, all tailored to engage families and communities.
  • Discover effective ways to promote dental services covered by Medi-Cal during NCDHM and encourage preventive care for children.
  • During the webinar you can engage directly with Smile, California representatives for questions about Medi-Cal benefits.
  • Find out how to request Smile, California materials—like toothbrushes, stickers, and activity kits—to distribute at outreach events.
