Dentistry and dental hygiene have been dramatically impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic. With reduced access to conventional dental care, maintenance of oral health through preventive care becomes even more important.

Join us September 12 and 13 for the Penn Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Symposium: COVID-19 Implications and Solutions in Dental Hygiene when we’ll cover specific topics related to the state of the pandemic and discuss options and solutions for optimal maintenance care of our patients. A highlight of the program is the live-stream interactive instrumentation hands-on course on Day 2. “Back to the NEW Basics” will review root morphology and it’s role in determining an individualized approach to periodontal instrumentation. Live, interactive demonstrations and videos will discuss various periodontal instruments then demonstrate how to achieve efficient and effective results, without over-instrumentation while reducing hand fatigue.
