Implicit bias has long been a negative influence on health outcomes, perpetuating disparities across health and dental practices. How can dental professionals recognize and address these unconscious biases to create equitable and inclusive care environments?
In celebration of Black History Month and in partnership with the National Dental Association, this webinar will explore the historical roots of systemic inequities and their lasting impact on health outcomes. Learners will better understand how bias manifests in clinical settings and hear actionable strategies to identify and mitigate these biases, fostering equity and improving patient care.
